Privacy Policy

Introduction
DiversionIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our flight diversion monitoring service, including our website at diversioniq.com, our mobile applications for iOS and Android (the "App"), and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information (name, email, organization)
- Payment information (processed by our secure payment provider)
- Usage data and preferences
- Communications with our support team
Mobile App Information
When you use our mobile application, we may additionally collect:
- Device information: Device name, operating system type and version, and unique device identifiers for session management and security purposes
- Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token to deliver real-time diversion alerts. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or the App's settings screen
- Biometric authentication preference: If you choose to enable biometric login (Face ID or fingerprint), we store a preference flag indicating this choice. We do not collect, store, or transmit any biometric data — all biometric processing occurs locally on your device using your operating system's built-in authentication framework
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
- Deliver push notification alerts for flight diversions (if enabled)
- Respond to your comments and questions
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
- Enforce session and device limits associated with your subscription tier
On-Device Data Storage
Our mobile application stores certain data locally on your device to provide a seamless experience:
- Authentication tokens: Stored in your device's encrypted keychain (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) using industry-standard secure storage. These tokens are used to keep you logged in and are never stored in plain text
- Cached flight data: Recent diversion data may be cached locally to provide offline access. Cached data is automatically cleared after 24 hours
- App preferences: Your settings (theme preference, notification preferences) are stored locally on your device
You can clear all locally stored data by logging out of the App or uninstalling it.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. On mobile devices, authentication credentials are stored using platform-native encrypted storage. All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to processing of your personal data
- Request restriction of processing your personal data
Data Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data, you may:
- Contact us at [email protected]
- Use the account management features at billing.diversioniq.com
Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information from our servers, revoke all active sessions and mobile tokens, and delete any stored push notification tokens. Locally cached data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the App. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our service, provide service on our behalf, or assist us in analyzing how our service is used. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
